Juan Enriquez is an authority on the economic and political impact of science. He is the founding director of the Harvard Business School Life Sciences Project. He also is CEO of Biotechonomy, a research and investment firm helping to fund new genomics firms. In his book 'As the future catches you' he examines the profound changes that genomics and other life sciences will cause in business, technology, politics and society.
According to Juan Enriquez, scientific discoveries demand a shift in code, and our ability to thrive depends on our mastery of that code. In this TED-speech Juan applies this notion to the field of genomics.
